CONSTITUENTS: VERBAL PREDICATES

This is a exercise about verbal predicates in Dutch. Identify the verbal predicate in the sentences below. Also describe the verbal predicate. Choose between:

1 = predicate with just a finite verb
2 = predicate with finite verb and infinitive
3 = predicate with more than one infinitive
4 = predicate with finite verb and past participle
5 = predicate with separable finite verb

Type your answer in the blank. Separate the verbs (and the prefix of separable verbs) by commas, and give in brackets the number that matches the correct description of the predicate. Pay attention to correct spelling. Use the 'check' button to correct your answer. If you do not know the correct answer, please click on 'show answer'. Once you have finished the exercise, you will be given a score. If your score is below 70% we advise you to review the grammar.
